It's About Time

For Debbie Burns and Bill Kelly, commercial lines producers at Williams, Turner & Mathis, time is money.
Williams, Turner & Mathis, based in Tucker, GA, outside Atlanta, was founded in 1970. Debbie has been with the agency over 25 years and, in addition to her role as a producer, is the IT coordinator. Bill joined the agency slightly more than a year ago, following a career running his own agency that he started from scratch.
“There are a lot of new products on the market so I can cross sell my book with products like cyber, umbrella and other lines,” Debbie explains. “I like Semsee because I don’t want to put my data in 13 times. It will bridge right to the carrier.”
For Bill, the platform is a critical starting point. “Semsee is important for me because it’s my first stop when I’m putting together a proposal. I start there to understand who’s going to have a market for this business and how am I going to get applications done,” he explains. “New businesses are great, but not every one makes it. I have to budget my time and efforts.”
Bill adds, “Semsee is filling an important role, especially as I build my book. I like how intuitive it is to use and how the responses come back. Semsee also puts the raw data into an ACORD form. And if it doesn’t have a carrier I need, I can take the ACORD form and submit it on the carrier site which saves a lot of time.”
