Insurance technology platform continues to increase number of small commercial carriers
NEW YORK, June 1, 2022—Semsee, the go-to platform for selling commercial insurance, has been selected by Arrowhead General Insurance Agency, Inc., adding to Semsee’s growing roster of more than 40 carriers. Today the quoting solution provides access to policy and quoting information for more than 5,000 agents. Agents will be able to quote Business Owners Policies (BOP) with Arrowhead, and Workers’ Compensation will be added later this year.
Semsee helps agents provide a fast, seamless insurance buying experience for their business customers. From helping to classify business to submitting a single form, agents can return multiple quotes in a matter of minutes and easily compare coverages side by side giving agents more time and resources to service and advise their customers.
“It’s really a simple value proposition. More insurers on Semsee’s platform gives agents more options, enabling them to ensure their clients get the best coverage for their risks,” said Philip Charles-Pierre, Semsee CEO. “We are excited to add Arrowhead to our platform. Semsee is 100% committed to independent agents – we will continue to partner with more carriers so they can have access to the most products possible and give their clients a full range of options.”
“As agents look to save time on manual tasks and make their workflows more efficient, we understand how important it is to be on the platforms that agents are using,” said Dawna Capps Evans, digital business leader for Arrowhead Core Commercial. “By utilizing the Semsee platform, we are simplifying the process for quoting Arrowhead BOP policies, thus allowing agents to focus on the most important part of their job – advising customers.”
Headquartered in San Diego, Arrowhead is one of the largest national insurance program managers for commercial and personal products in the U.S., with $1.8 billion written premium in 2021. Arrowhead's relationships with over 20 top-ranked insurance carriers provide stability for its nationwide network of agents. Arrowhead is a subsidiary of Brown & Brown, Inc. (NYSE: BRO).
